Obviously, your link is going to get the attention of the spider, and the spider is going to follow it because it is something new and unique to the blog it is posted on.

So, getting (for example) 1,500 backlinks from pages/blogs that are of the same topic as your link, and having your link anchored in keyword targeted text will shoot you to the top... right?... WRONG!
Google (the backlink kings) are already wise to that... If you have all of those ultra high quality links point to your page, but little or no lesser links pointing to your page, then their logic algorithm will simply determine that you have purchased a bunch on incoming links and they will downgrade the value and importance of those links altogether thereby killing your hopes of nailing that #1 position under the keywords or key phrases of your choice.
But, when we reverse engineer the site that is currently holding the #1 position for the keyword that we want to dominate, what do we find? We find that they have incoming links of varying value and in perfect proportion.
Meaning that by looking deeply enough into any site that holds the #1 position for any keyword or phrase, we find that they have, for example, 200 lesser importance backlinks, 112 mid-range importance backlinks, and 67 high range, high importance backlinks... In other words, we find a natural and believable progression in their backlinks.
So, what is the true final solution in generating a believable progression of backlinks so that we could realistically dominate any keyword and grab the #1 position even with a blank page?
The Perfect Solution of Course Is in those other blogs we are posting to in our methods of controlling and dominating the spiders into coming to find our links, and then following our links and ultimately listing our pages... The "power word" that is continually recurring is "link". You can select the keywords/phrases to use as your anchor text while posting, so you are 100% certain to dominate the exact keywords you are after.
